It has been 125 years since the last rider of the Pony Express thundered across the mountains and plains, but this vast lonely country has changed little. The scenery is magnificent and varied with rivers, mountains, sagebrush plains, and wooded hills. Your adventure includes your horse to ride the plains and your feet to explore one of America's most spectacular national parks.

The Ranch is located just outside of Cody, in the northwest corner of Wyoming, 26 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Nestled on Canyon Creek, it lies on the border of the Shoshone National Forest in the middle of the Absaroka Range of the Rocky Mountains.
Ranch Amenities: After a long day of riding or hiking relax in the ranch pool or spend time in the game room. On this vacation you can be as adventurous or laid back as you want. For those interested in a low impact vacation, easy wilderness walks and rides are available. Optional outside activities include the Thermopolis Hot Springs, The Wyoming Dinosaur Museum, and the world famous Buffalo Bill Historical Center which includes the Whitney Gallery of Western Art, the Plains Indian Museum, Cody Firearms Museum.
Fishing: The ranch has a private fishing pond and plenty of gear, no license required. The ranch carries a supply of lures and locally tied flies at the ranch. If you are interested in fishing some of Wyoming's world class streams a fishing guide is available with advance notice ($100/day extra). Licenses are available nearby.
Hiking: Rimrock Ranch is located only 26 miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, on the border of the Shoshone National Forest and nestled on Canyon Creek in the middle of the Absaroka Range of the Rocky Mountains. Its location makes it a hiker's paradise with plenty of wildlife to be seen. Guided hikes will be scheduled throughout your stay or feel free to explore on your own.
The Kosher Wild West Adventure takes place on a second generation, family-owned and -operated ranch started in 1956. Its smaller size and secluded location allows guests to become immersed in the area's natural surroundings.
Weekly Schedule
Day 1 (Fr): This is arrival day. Once you are settled into your cabin, you will learn your way around, and meet the help and other ranch guests. Prepare for Shabbat.
Day 2(Sa): Shabbat at leisure, evening Seder Passover begins.
Day 3(Su): 1st day Passover, day at leisure, 2nd Seder.
Day 4(Mo): 2nd day Passover, day at leisure, evening ranch activites.
Day 5 (Tu): After breakfast, cowboys fit your saddle and introduce you to your horse. Both are yours for the week. Following lunch, you can choose from a number of rides. Evening a cowboy singer entertains us around the campfire.
Day 6 (We): This is Yellowstone Park day (depending on season opening). It takes us all day to tour the "Lower Loop" of the Park offering spectacular site of Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful, the Geyser Basins and more, including various Park wildlife. If you've already seen the Park, you can spend the day in Cody and visit one of the worlds best western museum, the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. Riding is also an option.
Day 7 (Th): After breakfast, you can choose from the Rimrock Ride or the Holy City Ride. Both are wonderful photo opportunities. Optional ranch softball game, we have been playing softball in sagebrush for years. After lunch, we ride to Lost Creek. At dinner, we have a steak cook-out on the lawn. After dinner we have a fishing contest at the ranch pond.
Day 8 (Fr): By now you are ready for an "all day" ride to Table Mountain. Pack animals carry our lunch which is cooked over a campfire. We also have half - day rides and hiking. In the afternoon, we have our own Ranch Rodeo, with lots of horseback games. Prepare for Shabat.
Day 9 (Sa): Shabbat, rest and relaxation, optional Shabbat nature walks. After Shabbat, evening activities.
Day 10 (Su): Eighth day of Passover, day at leisure. After sundown, and a week of entertaining our guests, our guests entertain us with a fun "Talent Show". We also give gimkhana and fishing contest awards.
Day 11 (Mo):Final farewells, departure.
