The Location
 
The Ocotal Eco Beach Resort is located directly off Playa Ocotal, in the state of Guanacaste.  Playa Ocotal is just thirty minutes away from Liberia International Airport.  Numerous large airlines including American, Delta, Continental, United and USAir offer direct service.

For those looking to fly into San Jose International Airport (Costa Rica’s capital), Flamingo is a 4.5 drive or 35 minute flight by local airline.

Temperature:  April is considered summer and dry season in Costa Rica.  Temperatures in Guanacaste average between the high 80’s and 90’s during the day to the 70’s at night.

Beachfront Standard Room:  Take a nap in a hammock on your private terrace 10 yards from the beach! These beachfront rooms are located between the tennis court, the Rancho Snack Bar and the beachfront swimming pool. Closest rooms to the dive shop and 150 yards (up hill) from the lobby and main restaurant.  Size:  sqm

Panoramic View Standard  Room:  From your private terrace or balcony experience breathtaking panoramic views of the Gulf of Papagayo or watch the multicolored sunset over the ocean and surrounding islands. Two swimming pools and a Jacuzzi are located near these rooms.  Size: sqm

Bungalow Jr. Suites: Newly remodeled and located along a cliff overlooking Ocotal bay, between the reception and the beach, the spacious duplex Bungalows provide more privacy in a classy ambience. Extra features include refrigerator, private parking space and a plunge pool with ocean view (every 2 bungalows share a pool).  Size: sqm

Suites: Ideal for couples and families, the hilltop suites has an independent living area, refrigerator, spacious bathrooms with Jacuzzi and an impressive panoramic view.

The Honeymoon & Ocean Suite is beachfront with a king bed and a spacious bathroom, living and dinning area, refrigerator and private terrace.

The Beach - Ocotal Beach is a volcanic sandy beach about one-third of a mile in length and ideal for swimming, snorkeling, jogging, kayaking and other beach activities. Limited road access on the resort end of the beach makes it the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the quiet sound of the waves. Having been awarded the Ecological Blue Flag by the Costa Rican government for 10 consecutive years, Ocotal Beach is one of the best beaches that Costa Rica has to offer.

The Pools – Ocotal boasts 3 pools on-site including Jacuzzi.  Pools are located on 3 levels: Beach Pool (an expansive pool complete with swim-up bar, vollyball and leisure lounging), Mid Level Pool and Panoramic Hilltop Infinity pool; giving guest pleanty space and opportunity to find their own private place to sit back and relax.  Specific hours will be set aside at the hilltop pool during Chol Hamoed for those interested in separate swimming.
